Here are some Mech sketches I always liked. I did them from my toys. At my old aptartment, I used to let the neighbors' kids play w/ my toys on the porch. These were their favorites. I only have one of these guys left, and he's missing his toes. But he's still cool. I keep him at work.
Off to Yosemite. Sweet G and I are going to the high country to visit Uncle Dyno . Gonna squeeze in one last trip before I go back to work. Ahh yeahh. Later.
Check out this Megas storyboard panel. It's one of my favorites. He's about to reach towards cam ( filling frame w/ his hand) and pull out another robot's spine.
Still cleaning the studio and I found these Juniper Lee action poses. I use to rough them out w/brush pens on post its. Here are a couple of my favorites: p.s. to my juniper lee peeps out there," miss you guys."
Cleaning out the studio and coming across some cool stuff. These were BG roughs I did for Juniper Lee at CN. We had to draw the bg's on a seperate panel for animatics. Here are a couple of my favorites:
Portrait Of A Cloud Open Road Treetops, Washington Leo Carrillo Once upon a time, a couple of young painters hit the road w/ their French easels and painted along the way. We'd spend about 2 hours at a spot and whip out these plein-air ( I think thats how you spell it) paintings. We'd even sell some to locals for beer money and maybe another night or two. Here are a couple of those bad boys, freshly dusted for your viewing pleasure.
Awright, I'm cleaning out the studio as my hiatus slowly comes to an end, and I'm discovering a bunch of old gems. So I'll post some of theses babies as I dust them off. This is one of my favorite portraits. I love this model. How awesome is this dude? Great character!
